Hi Everyone!
I have been very busy with my work and school and plus my computers are not really coperating with uploading pictures. Even though I have many beautiful pictures of birds. I have been focusing on taking pictures that capture birds in action! I for some years have been wanting to only get as close as I can to a bird even if its just sitting down. And now I want to make the pictures more intresting composition and fluidity and action. Any advice would realy help on how to better acheive this! I am becoming more and more serious about photography for sure! I am very blessed to be surrounded by this passion. My older brother and cousin are currently studing it and my mom ans dad support me fully plus my grandfather used to be a good photographer too! I'm sure what I have isn't just a bug! Also I have two questions for the WHOLE community:

What is the rule of thirds?
And if anyone lives in or around Asheville, NC could you let me know about any good workshops or courses on photography that would be amazing! Please let me know about anything worth while!

Thanks for being a healthy and supportive community!
As soon as my stuborn computer works I will show you the bird pictures I have been taking

The rule of thirds is that if you draw imaginary lines dividing your picture into thirds both horizontally and vertically, you want the object of interest on one of the places where those lines meet.  It also suggests you put horizons on one of the third lines.  It basically just tells you not to put the focal point in the center of the picture, which makes things more interesting.
