I saw 9 Canada geese, 6 Mallard ducks, 1 chipping sparrow, 2 robins, 20 Herring gulls and 1 Redwinged blackbird. These are what I saw at work. In my backyard I only saw a couple of House sparrows.

Great Earth Day challenge. It was overcome by other blogs so I'm afraid not enough people saw it. We also posted it on the welovebirds facebook page and folks have been answering it there.

Pretty typical day here. In my backyard we had a grackle. That's a new visitor for my yard although I see lots of them around town. Also several crows, mockingbirds, the cardinal couple, a blue jay and a couple of Eurasian collared doves.

My trip downtown featured ibises, white herons, mallards, boat-tailed grackles and an anhinga.

Tonight there's a rocket launch from the Cape. Not a bird but an interesting sky event nevertheless.
