Please take a moment to write to your member of Congress and ask them to vote "No" on a bill that would rush through a decision on the proposed Keystone XL tar sands oil pipeline. About me

I work with the Natural Resources Defense Council in the international program and helped create this site. Birds are a natural way to connect people to the environment. What happens far away may not seem to affect our everyday lives until we realize that oil extraction in Canada can hurt our backyard birds where they nest and mining in Latin America where they winter.
