My pleasure! The whole Vancouver area is really great for birding, especially in the winter, since it is a major wintering area for many northern species who come from northern BC, Alaska and the Yukon and the Arctic. And if it is not raining (which happens more often that people think here), the light is fairly good, especially in the morning. And birds can funny that way: one day, you can’t see a certain species to save your life, the next, it’s lounging around, waiting to be observed and photographed.
Robert, thanks for the nice comment on my young eagle photo!
Thank you, Robert. There are of course a number of impressive images posted for the contest, but I did feel compelled to at least comment on those that struck an especially notable chord each time I viewed the selections.
Yes Robert it was snow in the titmouse photo but it was last years snow. When I got home tonight our bird baths were frozen, it's supposed to be 22 in the morning. I'm not ready for the cold.
I know what you mean - I love getting the flight shots or the birds interacting with each other - just something a little different!
Robert, thank you for the nice comments on my shots. I have looked at some of your Gallery - WOW - you do a great job and I love the flight shots.
