Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, is the site of North America's largest Atlantic Puffin colony, the Witless Bay Ecological Reserve (coordinates 41°13'47”N 52º47'27”W). The reserve, which consists of four islands, also serves as a nesting area for over 600,000 pairs of Leach's storm petrels plus a further population of thousands that includes razorbills, black-legged kittiwakes, common and thick-billed murres and northern fulmars.
