Dale Harmon said… - I see what you're saying and it makes perfect sense. I picked up this hobby about 3 months ago and was not able to invest in SLR equipment. Little did I know that I would outgrow this camera so quickly! Guess I'll have to keep stuffing the piggy bank! Thanks again Ernie!

- Hi Ernie, One problem I have is loss of detail on a bird when the light is behind it. Like shooting upward with a gray sky. Could I change any camera settings to maybe get more detail of the birds to show? I have a Canon SX30is camera. It has pretty much the same features as an SLR without a changeable lens. Here is an example. Probably not the best example but hopefully you know what I'm trying to do. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
