Thanks for the come back !! I use only Nikon Digital (D50) cause I like
their lenses abd cameras !! I gave all my film stuff away because being
retired I can't afford to process them even at Costco !! Considering the
sharpness of your photos those lenses are pretty good !!
I have a mono pod and very rarely us a tripod anymore; I try to travel light !!
I use a photo vest and thats my camera bag, disks are so cheap and small
and I usually carry a 18 to 55 and 70 to 300 Nikor lenses !!
Take Care an Be Well !! John L. (Bearheart)

Thanks for the comment on the Bald Eagle photograph. This was taken in November 2010, during the Eagle Festival at Haines, not far from the Eagle Preserve along the Chilkat River. We saw close to 3,000 eagles gathered for the late salmon run, and the locals said that they have had over 5,000 in past years.
Doug Gilham said… Yes Don, it had been feeding with Vultures. That area of Florida is known for it's Crested Caracara population, and a good way to find them is look for Vultures and travel backroads, as that is where this photo had been taken.
