We thank you, Leslie.  An Eared Grebe is one I would really like to see.  An Iceland Gull is cool too.  I  today to get both the Mergansers and he Ring-Billed for only a 1-hr round trip drive.  I had been receiving reports about where they had been seen.

Great close ups.  Thanks for the photos.  We have Eared Grebes at the Yolo Wildlife area now but they are just starting to get plumage.  We also had an Iceland Gull at the Davis sewer ponds over the weekend.
