Thanks Rosanna, Ella & Mitchelle.  I have a lot of these birds in the winter.  I lay our discarded Christmas tree on its side near the feeders and these little birds use it for shelter and a hiding place when Mr. Cooper Hawk comes around.

Love this one. We have this bird but I don't see him very often. Most of the time he is on the ground eating. we feed our ground birds in our side yard. Enjoyed looking at your photos, thanks for sharing.
