Arlene, I gave up being mad at the hawks! Now I just view them as beautiful birds higher up on the food chain.

Comment by Arlene Marie Longson on April 3, 2010 at 9:27pm: My reaction is "Oh, the poor squirrel!". I have been waiting for the hawks to come in as they always follow the blackbird migration. Lo and behold, tonight just before dinner, in they came. Three hawks in the span of two hours made attempts on my bird feeding station. One was a chicken hawk, another was the usual terrorist, the red-tailed hawk (sneaky bugger that one.. he knows me and works around me quite arrogantly) -- and one other hawk I've yet to identify.
