I have dozens of red winged blackbirds displaying now.  Most are singing their little hearts out and flashing their red shoulders in the tops of the trees.  But I catch them with my camera on the feeder.  The feeder is unique.  It is welded steel set in concrete to keep the bears from eating it.  Two tractor discs keep the squirrels and usually the coons out of it.

No, I don't know what's going on with Him. It looks like some kind of growth. he obviously can only see from the one eye. He's not really afraid of me. I can get as close at a foot from Him until he flies off. He is around here alot, he can also be found in my neighbors bird feeders.
