It took me the better part of 5 hours trying to figure out how to do it but I finally was able to save a single frame from the video as a photo. This is from last night's thunderstorm.  It's going to…Continue

Nice photos, DaLo!  We did not get any weather today, but even yesterday we got little more than a passing rain shower.  I hear we may be in for some heavy weather this weekend though depending upon what that tropical low does.

Thanks!  Afterwards, I 'Googled' Mamma Cloud and there were AMAZING shots on there (including one from my home town - which was fun).

Great photos Da Lo. I especially love the third one! We didn't get much here in Auburndale. Maybe 10 minutes of rain and that was it. Looks like the west coast got a lot more though.

OK, Florida actually had a some weather today!  Firstly, there was heavy rain and a little thunder (my thirsty yard was thrilled).  Second, as it cleared, we got some Mamma Cloud and then, some variant of it (I think) which looked rather unusual.... [temp 92'F, falling to 76'F after].

Yooper (definition)... reads Wikipedia Dialect page.

"From the Upper Penninsula of Michigan and proud of it".

As a Florida 'blow-in' I can't complain about three days of light frost, back in England, winter lasts for months and months and months and months...

Great picture Roberta!

Wintering in Joshua Tree, CA. We have had beautiful weather..Sunny,

high in the low 70's nights in the 40's. Light winds.

Lovely for a 'yooper woman'.

What an artistic shot, Roberta!  This morning only yielded about 1/4 inch on mine, but I hear that tonight the plants can go uncovered. :) Like you said, at least it's only a couple nights this time.  I worry about the wildlife when we get a bad stretch of them.

This morning. Glad the warm up is already underway.

Uh-oh, I haven't covered tonight.  I guess I'd better check the weather and then get a flashlight!  Thanks.

Now, I believe you two are a little further north than I... how on earth did I get frozen water a quarter inch thick? :0  I don't know what our overnight low actually was, but I know they had predicted 28.  It shaped up to be a nice day for a hike at the St. Sebastian River Preserve though!  Temps dropping again and they were calling for 32 in my area tonight.  I guess we shall see what the morning brings... stay warm, all!
