Does anybody know the correct termanology for the only snipe found in North America. Originally it was called Wilson's Sipe, but then it became common snipe and then back to wilson's and now they are two seperate species.... any ways, it's really confusing and if anyone knows please share with me.

THanks!

Wilson's Snipe is the North American species.  Common Snipe is the one in Eurasia.  They were recently split and are considered separate species.
