Hi!  Are any of you doing Project Feeder Watch? This is my first year and I wondered how many minutes/hours do you watch on your two days in order to get your count?  Should I watch for half an hour? An hour? All morning?  I just am not clear on how long I should be counting. :)

Thanks so much for any help!

I finally found this on their web site. I guess I wasn't searching long enough. ;) Here is what they say:

"Watch your feeders for as long as you can during your count days. However, you don’t need to get up early or watch continuously--many people observe before and after work, or they count for five minutes at the top of every hour. If you cannot count during both of your count days, try to count as long as possible on your one available day. Be sure to keep track of how much time you spend observing your count site. Remember if no birds visit your feeders, this information is important. Please report "I watched my feeders, but no birds were present" on your data forms."
This is my first year doing Project FeederWatch too! For my first watch, I joined up with my local Audubon society at a local preserve. We watch at least 2 hours at a time, for the two consecutive days every two weeks. I figure this first time I'm lucky enough to get lots of advice from some seasoned birders and branch off from there.
