Last song of the Robin
Dear We Love Birders,
Hi, my name is David Tattoni and I am writing a book titled: The Last Song of The Robin. It is a book about how songbirds are in danger due to habitat destruction, ect. Anyways, in my book I want to include not only my experiences with songbird fallouts but the experiences of other birders. This sounds like a great project. If we ever hear the last American Robin song, we are really in trouble. They are one of the most numerous birds out there.

Sounds like a good book. I might have to keep an eye out for it someday. Honestly, I've probably read too many books about wildlife declines, and it's depressing, but important to know. Ever since I read "Silence of the Songbirds" by Bridget Stutchbury, I've been trying to do my best to limit my impact on birds. Keep us updated on your book!
