where was the photo taken? any details of the bird not seen, wing bars, chest spots?
perhaps a prothonotory warbler? hard to gauge size and details, but maybe?
I went to Whatbird.com, looked in "yellow" category, the only bird that even comes close is a Yellow Warbler but those appear to have some brown on the breast. Except for the prolonged beak, this looks like a canary to me! It's not uncommon for birds to escape (or, sadly, be thrown out of windows) during the spring/summer when windows are first opened. The very long beak is what I find odd, I doubt a canary could survive long enough in the "wild" for its beak to grow out that way, but then what do I know, I'm a newby on this site, just learning myself.
definitely need to know when and where that was taken....hmmmm...that long, de-curved bill looks like could be one of the western thrashers...
It would be nice to see if this bird has wingbars. The beak is not warbler beak. this may be a juvenile oriole or an adult female Orchard Oriole. The bird does not look warbler to me at all, more like a oriole of some type (Hooded or Orchard). Where was this photo taken?

My vote goes to a female Hooded Oriole. see my photo at: http://www.pbase.com/ornithographyplus/image/77963239
