Where's that "expensive bird books given free to impoverished birders" charity when you need it?

I was going to send you to my favorite textbook backup, AbeBooks.com, but their cheapest copy is $541.17 - nice round number there. I would keep a watch on the auction sites. But... it looks like it will not come cheap any time soon. Good luck! It looks like a great book to have on the reference shelf! :)
Permalink Reply by paris laroche on January 28, 2012 at 1:30pm lol thanks its actually for a course i want to take to become an ornithologist when im older..its written by 12 different ornithologists that are experts in each of the chapters and its no longer in print so it is rare too
Permalink Reply by SLB on January 29, 2012 at 11:23am If your local library has a computerized system, you can use that to find books on bird biology. If you prefer, ask the librarian to help with your search. Perhaps that particular book will not be there, but there should be other books on the subject.
